Looking back at 2007 Social Events
The Valentine’s Day Dally
As always, our Valentine’s Day Dally was a big success, due in large part to our wonderful new location at the Cingular/AT&T Corporate Headquarters in Rocky Hill, which offered easy access and lots of room for dancing and mingling. The light snacks and drinks, which were provided by Lou Siering, Manager of Epicurean Feast, were enjoyed and appreciated by all!
We offer our special thanks to our terrific DJ, Scott Walker; BIAC Board Member Sharon Pope for the festive balloons; candid photographers Ally Peters and Katie Bratsklasky; professional photographer Mary Ann Rosenlof; and the many other volunteers who helped make the day a success. We are particularly grateful to BIAC Special Events Coordinator Cindy Lang and Patty McCandless from AT&T, whose efforts made this event so special for everyone who attended!
Our Annual Summer Picnic
BIAC’s summer picnic is an opportunity for survivors, their families, and caregivers to get together for an afternoon of fun. This is a free event for everyone, and activities are available for all ages.
Our 2007 Picnic and Recognition Program will be Thursday, August 16th at Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut. The picnic will start at 3:00 p.m. and conclude at 7:00 p.m. Food will be generously provided by Somers Congregational Church. Please RSVP by August 6th by calling 800 278-8242.
BIAC’s Personal Enrichment Retreat
When fall arrives, it’s time for BIAC’s Personal Enrichment Retreat. This year’s Retreat will begin on Friday afternoon, September 14th, and conclude Sunday morning, September 16th. It is a weekend filled with music, dancing, art, games, support, and friendship.
