Bike For Thought

the 2019 TOUR OF LIGHTS Bike for thought
was held on SATURDAY, MAY 11, 2019

Mother Nature smiled upon us and provided us with a glorious day full of sunshine and mild temperatures to celebrate Joe Damon and our 10th Annual Bike for Thought "Tour of Lights"! We had a record number of on-site registrants and those combined with pre-registered riders gave us the most number of participants for this ride in many years.

Thank you

This year's event was a huge success in large part due to you. Whether you rode, donated, volunteered or cheered from the sidelines, your energy was felt and your support is genuinely appreciated.

Fundraisers such as this allow BIAC to continue providing critical support services to those who have sustained a brain injury, their families and caregivers as well as crucial prevention education throughout Connecticut. By working together, we are changing lives.

We invite you to like us on Facebook to see photos from the event or visit our website to learn about other upcoming events, including the next Tour of Lights scheduled for May 9th, 2020.

thanks for your support

Each spring, you can enjoy this beautiful coastal ride with incredible views of seven historic lighthouses and help raise funds to provide critical brain injury prevention and resource services throughout Connecticut.  The Bike for Thought starting location is at UCONN's Avery Point.

If you would like to see the 2019 route, you may view or download the 62 mile route which took riders to Westerly, RI and back to Avery Point.  The 25 mile route tours the scenic Connecticut coast.
