Sarah Raskin, PhD., ABBPP/ABCN, President
Dr. Raskin is Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Trinity College. A well-known researcher and expert in neuropsychological evaluation and cognitive remediation, Dr. Raskin has been a frequent presenter at BIAC's conferences and workshops. She served on BIAC's board (1995-1998) and has been a Support Group Facilitator since 1994.

Ginger Mills, MA, Secretary
Ms. Mills is a Doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hartford.  

Greg Bubnash, Treasurer
Former Director of the Investment Advisory Group of Hartford Mutual Funds, Mr. Bubnash has an adult son with a brain injury. Mr. Bubnash has been an active participant in BIAC's bike-a-thon and golf tournament. His finance and auditing experience are of significant value to the Board.

Dr. Asante is attending physician and Associate Director of TBI Rehabilitation at Hartford Healthcare and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at UCONN Medical Center.

David W. Bush, Esq.
A partner in the law firm of Brignole, Bush and Lewis, Mr. Bush is a civil and criminal litigation attorney and a previous President of the Board. He has served as Chair of the BIAC Golf Tournament Planning Committee for more than twelve years, and returned to serving as a member of the Board in 2013.

Traci Cipriano, JD, PhD
Dr. Cipriano, a clinical psychologist, is Director of Professional Affairs for the Connecticut Psychological Association and Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale Department of Psychiatry.

Casey Cochran
Mr. Cochran is a graduate student at the University of Connecticut where he was formerly quarterback for the Huskies before retiring after 13+ concussions.  Casey was the keynote speaker at the BIAC 2016 Annual Professional Conference.

Kendell L. Coker, Ph.D., J.D.
Dr. Coker is Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, specializing in Forensic Psychology at the University of New Haven as well as the Faculty Chief Researcher of Tow Youth Justice Institute.

Jennifer Cromer, PhD
Dr. Cromer is  a clinical neuropsychologist and Program Director of the Neurobehavioral Program at the Hospital for Special Care.  She is a frequent presenter on brain injury topics throughout the state.

Renée East, MS
Ms. East is Community Living Consultant and owner of Personal Care Solutions, providing consulting for individuals who privately hire staff to work in their personal residences.  She previously served as Vice President of Community Facilities for The Kennedy Center and as vice president of human services at Goodwill of Western & Northern CT.

Janice E. Favreau, RP
Ms. Favreau serves as Asst. Risk Manager for LEGO Systems, Inc. and has a son with a brain injury. She previously served on the board of BIAC and as a Support Group Facilitator in Ellington in the 1980's.

Cheree Fenske, PhD
Dr. Fenske is a neuropsychologist and partner at Neuropsychology Consultants, LLC, in Norwalk, CT.  She was formerly a post-doctoral fellow conducting research with GBI at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Vicky Graham, DAT, LAT, ATC
Ms. Graham is an athletic trainer and Co-Founder and President at Sport Safety Consulting.  She is a past president of the Connecticut Athletic Trainers' Association and has served for several years on the BIAC Conference Planning Committee.

Michael Jennings
Mr. Jennings is a TBI survivor and  has been a Support Group Facilitator for BIAC since 2005. Previous to his injury he served as a project engineer for Hamilton Sundstrand. Mr. Jennings currently serves on the Aging & Disability Commission for the Town of Simsbury and on the Board of Directors for New Horizons Village, an assisted living complex in Unionville.

Peter McAllister, MD
Dr. McAllister is a board certified neurologist and Director of the New England Center for Neurology and Headache.  Formerly Director of the Concussion Center at Associated Neurologists of Southern Connecticut, he holds clinical appoinments at both Yale University School of Medicine and Quinnipiac University School of Medicine.  Dr. McAllister is currently conducting research on stem cell and TBI.

Maryann McGuire
Ms. McGuire is an adjunct faculty member at Trinity College with over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including as a registered nurse.  The mother of a son with a brain injury, Maryann also consults with BIAC on research and grant writing.

David Moore
Mr. Moore is the former Chieft Strategic Officer for Chemwerth, Inc.  A long-term supporter of BIAC, David brings significant strategic planning and marketing expertise to the Board.

Dorene Scolnic, LCSW
Ms. Scolnic is a Clinical Social worker at Gaylord Hospital working in their neurobehavioral unit.  In addition to her professional experience in brain injury, she also has experience serving on several boards in Connecticut.

David Wang, MD
Dr. Wang is Medical Director, Elite Sports Medicine, Connecticut Children's Medical Center.  He is past Medical Director of Sports Medicine at Stillwater Medical Group and has extensive expertise in consussion management.

Michael Zacchea
Mr. Zacchea is Director and Program Manager at the UConn Entrepreneur Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities.  He is a retired LtCol with the US Marine Corp, a brain injury survivor and serves on the Advisory Committee on Veterans Business Affairs.

Julie Peters, CBIS (Ex Officio)
Executive Director, Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut
Ms. Peters is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and has served as BIAC’s Executive Director since 2002. Prior to joining BIAC, she served as Executive Director of the National Association of Social Workers-Utah Chapter.
